Sao Beach is near An Thoi in the south of the island. Popular boat trips from An Thoi head to the An Thoi archipelago for swimming and snorkeling over coral, and most leave in the morning. Here are our listed prices and how to prepare.

A sample day
- Morning: head out to sea while the water is calm and clear.
- Midday: freshwater shower and a seafood lunch at Sao Beach.
- Afternoon: relax on a lounger or in a cabana.
- Evening: drive 30–45 minutes to Duong Dong for dinner.
When to go
November to April brings sunny skies and calm, clear water. From May to October trips still run on good days, but plans can change with the weather.
What to bring
- Reef-safe sunscreen (no oxybenzone or octinoxate) or a long-sleeved rash guard.
- Your own mask if you prefer it, a towel, dry clothes and a waterproof phone pouch.
- Seasickness tablets, taken 30–60 minutes before you board, and a light meal.
- Water, a hat and sunglasses.
Safety
- Always wear a life jacket while snorkeling.
- Tell the crew about any heart, blood-pressure or breathing conditions, if you are pregnant, or if you have been drinking.
- Never stand on or touch coral.
- Stay with the group and within sight of the boat. Children must be with an adult.

Is there a transfer?
Yes, including airport pick-ups. Give at least 3 hours’ notice.
What if the weather is bad?
Changes and cancellations are free with 24 hours’ notice. Call us to pick another day.
